BridgePointe gives ten percent of its budget to support ministries that are expanding God's kingdom. BP's Outreach Leadership Team has provided the following updates and prayer points so that you can join in praying for our outreach partners.
City Coast Church, Fairfield County, CT
Launched in the fall of 2022, City Coast currently averages around 20 households per weekend, for about 50-70 people total. They are continuing to build relationships and grow disciples of Jesus. Join us in praying for the prayer requests they shared:
As City Coast prepares for the fall, pray for wisdom and discernment concerning office and worship spaces. Specifically, pray for them to discern if they should continue meeting in the school or find another space.
Pray for discernment in the best ways to reach people in their community as they launch a broader outreach this fall.
Pray that God would provide a Children’s / Family Ministry Director to lead the ministry. .
Sojourn Collegiate Ministry
Summer is here and students are not on campus, but after a strong year of engaging unchurched students with the gospel, Sojourn is busy preparing for the fall. This summer, join us in praying for Sojourn:
Pray for rest for the Sojourn staff as they prepare for another school year.
Pray for Sojourn’s students this summer - a lot of their students are going home to tough situations.
Pray for the upcoming year at Providence College. Pray that God would provide student leaders that are excited about helping their friends experience Jesus’ love, and pray for connections with students that will build trust.
Pray for God to provide direction Sojourn’s pursuit of a building or house space near PC to have as a home base for PC students to hang out, study, and come to events.
Hopeville Church, Baltimore, MD
Joshua & Ericka Symonette desire to be a conduit of hope, to connect people to Jesus, and to help bridge the divides in the city as part of a new church in Baltimore. Hopeville’s Sunday gatherings are currently around 150 people each week. One bright spot they have shared with us is that the participation of kids and youth has tripled over the last seven months. Join us in praying for them:
Pray for continued growth and traction in sharing the Gospel with those around them.
Pray for relational equity with our leaders and leadership team. They are a new church and are still trying to get to know each other. Pray for them as they work on strengthening and deepening their relationships this summer.
NEU Church Planting
BridgePointe has partnered with NEU Church Planting in their mission to equip church planters and team members to build sustainable, diverse, gospel-centered churches among New England’s urban neighborhoods. In particular we have been supporting Jonathan Lugo as he is planting a Spanish language church in Central Falls. Join us in praying for their requests:
Please pray for the salvation of many who attend the Bible study Johnathan started. This is the beginnings of the church they are starting.
Pray for another leader, a mature Spanish speaking Christian, to join the church plant team and support Johnathan in his work.
They have identified a rental space that will work for them. Please pray for the funding to be able to rent the space.
Tanner Green, Orchard Group
Tanner Green is the regional director for Orchard Group. Since 1948, Orchard Group has been connecting church planters and generous partners to establish churches in cities. Tanner joined Orchard Group about two years ago when Restoration House Ministries merged with Orchard Group.

Pray for the Greene family, specifically for wisdom and direction for where Tanner’s wife Bethany can serve the Kingdom.
Harmony Women’s Care Center
Kim Carlone is part of the BridgePointe family, works for Harmony and has been our liaison with the organization. Harmony (previously CareNet-RI) offers women facing unplanned pregnancies the support and information they need to change their fear into confidence. She shares the following prayer requests:
Please pray for the staff working at the center, for their health and for them to stand firm against the enemy’s attacks.
Pray that Harmony can hire the staff they need.
Together With Love
Together with Love is dedicated to working with the community to advocate and care for those impacted by sexual exploitation. They have shared the following prayer requests with us:
Please pray for those who are both vulnerable to trafficking and those currently being exploited within our own communities, especially children. We are seeing an increased demand in child & teen trafficking within our state.
Please pray for increased resources, funds & housing to support survivors to be made available.
We could also use prayer for continued wisdom and discernment in how to best care and advocate for those impacted by exploitation as an organization that is mostly volunteer led.
