The Thrill of Hope

  • Providence Country Day 660 Waterman Avenue East Providence, RI, 02914 United States (map)

BridgePointe's Christmas Celebration

The birth of Jesus was announced as "good news of great joy" because it brought hope for all people.  Come experience the thrill of that hope at an evening of song and story followed by holiday refreshments.  All are welcome at this family friendly event.

Two Services:  6:00pm & 7:45pm

In order to better accommodate everyone, this event is not at the BridgePointe Center, but down the road at Providence Country Day.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Is this service at your usual location?
No. It will be just up Waterman Ave at Providence Country Day School, near the intersection of Pawtucket Ave.

  2. Which building should I go to?
As you drive into PCD, Metcalf Hall is the large two-story building at the center of the campus. The auditorium is on the second floor of this building. The facility is equipped with handicap accessible elevators.

  3. Where do I park?
There are three main parking lots on PCD’s campus. The first will be on the right of the driveway as you enter. The second lot, between Metcalf Hall and Chase Hall, is reserved for handicap, elderly and families with young children. The third lot is up the hill near the field house. Additionally, there will be parking attendants on-site to guide you.

  4. What time should I arrive?
The services start promptly at 6:00 and 7:45. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early for parking and finding a seat. For families and groups of more than 5, an earlier arrival will ensure seating together.

  5. Is there a separate program for children?
No. We believe that Christmas is a special celebration that is best when shared with family. The service is planned with elements that will engage the whole family in the celebration.

  6. Can I bring friends or family?
Absolutely. Everyone is welcome to come. There is no need for an invitation, a ticket, or a reservation. Please invite people to come and celebrate the hope of Jesus with us.
