HOME GROUP FAQ
WHAT ARE GROUPS?
Groups are casual and comfortable gatherings of 8-15 normal, imperfect, lovable people just like you. They meet weekly because consistency really helps relationships grow. They last about an hour and a half and include food, conversation, Bible study, and usually a lot of laughs. Many of BridgePointe's groups offer childcare so that parents can engage without divided attention. Groups run for 12 weeks in the fall, take a short break over the holidays and then resume in the new year. You can join an open home group at any time during the year.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN A GROUP?
We were made to share life with others and we simply believe that life is better together. Groups are the best way to connect with people in the church. By joining a group, you will have people you can count on for support and encouragement throughout the week. The group conversation parallels the message from Sunday, which provides an opportunity to ask questions, learn from each other, and apply the teaching to real life. It's okay if you don't know a lot about the Bible. We encourage you to come as just as you are.
HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?
We currently have groups that meet throughout the East Bay on most nights of the week. Look at the schedule above and decide which home group works for you.
