Ministry update - Changes for 3 year olds

Our goal at BP Kids is to ensure that every child feels safe and cared for while they are under our care. Starting March 25th, BP Kids will alter the age restrictions for two of our learning environments to make better use of our space and to better serve 3 year olds.

We will move the 1 year olds into the Infant side of the Nursery to provide a safer space with simpler toys. We will also move the 3 year olds into toddler side of the nursery so they can play and learn with the 2 year olds.

To offset the increased amount of children, our goal is to provide 5 adults (per service) to provide adequate care and attention for all children.

Early Learners:
3 year olds will move out of this classroom and into the nursery. That means that children in the ministry will transition into the Early Learners classroom once they turn 4. This will allow the 3 year olds will have more play time, while learning about God is a way that engages them better. This will also allow the 4 and 5 year olds to learn at a higher level.

We experimented with these age ranges interacting with each other at our Christmas services, and had great success with behavior, engagement, and interaction. I am confident this transition will benefit all children in both environments, and will allow us as a ministry to love and lead your children better.

Thank you for your time, and for giving this team the chance to love and lead your children well.
